This is my Daughter, Maddie and her fiancé Chris. They are getting married in July. Woo hoo! I loved doing this shoot, but then again, I love doing every shoot. So I extra loved this one. That's probably not proper english. A couple of years ago I spied this awesome old Ford pickup truck in town parked near Heights Plaza and I knew I wanted to use it in a photo shoot. I wondered if I could rent it from the owner. I told my husband about it and he said, "Oh, that's Paul Spender's truck. He probably will let you rent it." So I waited for the right opportunity. When my daughter asked me to do her engagement shoot, I knew it was time. A Ford in a Ford and Chris loves old cars and trucks. He gave up buying and old vehicle so he could buy Maddie an engagement ring. I called Paul and he was wonderful. He wouldn't take any money and wanted to know where and when I wanted the truck. We agreed on a time and place and he met us there. I loved the sound of the engine when he drove up the road. I knew it was him without even looking. The rest of the shoot was a blast. Paul even watched their dog, Jager while I took the photos. This is my favorite shot. I used it on their save the date card. Thank you Paul Spender for the use of your awesome truck! Here are a few other shots after Paul left: Interesting way to show the ring, it was her choice. I don't know where she gets her sense of humor. A bit twisted, I'd say. Chris liked the idea, a match made in heaven. Very goofy, they must feel comfortable with the photographer. Thanks for taking a peek. I can't wait for the wedding!
