About 7 years ago my oldest daughter, Emily,  showed me how to turn the the dial on my rarely used point and shoot camera, to "A" and get a really close up shot of someone's eye. I could see all the details of the iris. It was so amazing! I was hooked. I went around taking pictures of everything. The picture to the right was one of those pictures. I know now that the crop is terrible, but what detail! My heart pounded. I could not believe the creative high I got from taking pictures.

My husband is an excellent musician, artist, and all around handyman capable of remodeling and fixing anything in our house. I have always been envious of his creative abilities. Now I had something too! For me, it has become an obsession. You rarely find me anywhere without my camera(s).

My mom and dad visited this past weekend and they were both so encouraging about my new career. My dad told me he was so excited for me because he always had wanted to become a photographer. That meant so much to me.

God has blessed me thus far with my life, I am going to lean on Him for the rest of it, as a photographer.

Some of the basic equipments and tools that a commercial photographer needs are the lights, the shades, the backdrop and quite obviously the camera. Here we are going to talk about the lights, the shades and the backdrop. All three of them, when adjusted in the proper manner, can spell magic and do wonders to the images shot.

The best wedding photography can only be achieved from the best wedding photographers. With so many of them nowadays, what then makes a good one for your big day?

The cameras professional photographers mostly use are DSLRs. Their design and function comes from film cameras. The higher-end models have a full-frame sensor and the lenses are interchangeable on DSLRs and these lenses range in quality.

Hasselblad X1D-50c. Most consumers are buying either full-frame or APS-C cameras. The highest scoring full-frames are all tied at 100, including the Panasonic Lumix DC-S1R 47.3MP, the Nikon D850 45.7MP, the Sony A7R III 42.4MP, and the Nikon Z7II 45.75MP
